                                 A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
My name is CRAIG HURBA. I am a professional baseball player that lives in Goldsboro, NC. I played college baseball locally at Mount Olive College and was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 2004 MLB draft.
I am still very active with the Mount Olive College baseball program as I assist them with coaching their team on a volunteer basis. I work out with them daily so that I can continue to improve my skills each off season.
                                 WHAT I'M OFFERING
I will be offering baseball instruction for children of all ages and playing levels; primarily hitting and catching instruction during the next off season when I return to Goldsboro. I anticiapte my availability to begin in late September 2007 and continue through until MLB Spring Training. I spend a lot of time in Clayton, where my father, Gary Hurba, currently resides and my services will be available at that location as well.
I have been giving private instruction and working at baseball camps since my early years in college. I come from a baseball teaching family. I have a brother who is currently a Division I college hitting coach that also owns and runs very successful baseball training camps. I've worked all across the country in a  teaching environment. I would like to pass along some of the knowledge, passion and good fortune that the game has given me. I especially enjoy working with those that are in middle school and high school because that is the age when players really start to develop their skills and the learning process can be impacted greatly by quality instruction.
CONTACT ME/PUT YOUR NAME ON AN INTEREST LIST
Throughout this upcoming season, I will be taking names to put on an interest list for next off season. I'll be working through a lot of the details of these training sessions throughout the summer. Also, as I receive e-mails I will be able to keep in touch with potential players and start to develop a rapport, as well as answer all the pertinent questions that you might have about how I structure my hitting sessions.

                                 INSTRUCTION RATES:
Individual Lessons (Min. of 4 lessons) - $25 for 30 minutes of concentrated hard work
Group Lessons (2-3) - $20 per child for 45 minutes of group learning

Through my experience in instructing, I have learned that kids operate better while working with their peers. In higher levels of baseball - high school, college and professional - much of the learning is developed through group training. Although, every baseball player grasps ideas and learns differently. That is why I offer individual and group lessons.
As well as hitting instruction, I will be offering catching instruction. Being a catcher myself, I understand how difficult it is to find QUALITY catching instruction. I have worked with several catching instructors throughout my career at every level I've played at. They have all helped me become the catcher that I am today and I would love to have the opportunity to pass on my knowledge of catching as well as hitting.
PLEASE!! If you have any questions at all regarding myself or the instruction that I am offering, contact me at the above e-mail address.
